Is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt (1953) a criminal for repeating in his private life what was his career for many years? What he was paid for - and gained fame for doing - was pornography. His nickname was "The Hedgehog" which goes well with his short build. He is no Adonis, but as he was ranked by AVN at No. 1 in their "50 Top Porn Stars of All Time" list he surely performed satisfactorily within his chosen field. It's note worthy that he is reputed to have made more than 1700 porn flicks, which I suppose only was possible because he didn't have the same erectile problems as his super famous and highly admired, but not as prolific, colleague, John Holmes.

John Curtis Holmes (1944-1988)

This porn actor had a big male fan base because of his exceptionally large penis - or rather the rumours of this male member as its measures were not verified except for what was obvious from his movies. He was also known as John C. Holmes or Johnny Wadd after his lead character in a series of related films). His movie count was 573 films and maybe some more, but he had problems that didn't occur in the career of Ron Jeremy: His very big and long penis had a bad habit of "folding" without the stamina that is necessary in a male porn star. In 1988 he became a suspect in the so-called "Wonderland murders", but he was never arrested. As many others in the porn industry he contracted AIDS which killed him in March 1988. It's interesting that he became the subject of several books and also the inspiration for two movies: "Boogie Nights" and "Wonderland". 

Ron Jeremy wasn't met with murder charges like John Holmes, but he didn't escape the law scott free as he has been charged with an ability that used to pay his rent, so to speak: Sex in the form of MeToo offences. According to rumours - and his attorney - he has become demented. That may - or may not - be true, but it's obvious that what used to be his job has turned into a grave problem in his private life.

As far as I know he never had the masses of male fans as John Holmes and his long penis. Actually, his male member was known for being a short, but thick and efficient tool. That means that he didn't come out as impressive as John Holmes. On the other hand, his achievements were indisputable. The short-dicked porn star could perform and do what he was paid to do. If he really is demented it must be confusing for him that he is being accused of more and more MeToo-crimes. Does this happen because he - like many ordinary men - has no inner sense of the meaning of women's "no" and "yes"??? Is he stupid or does he think more of himself as the "star" of 1700 porn flicks than that achievement/job justifies? One thing is for sure, he really looks like a sick, and more or less deranged man as he is being wheeled into the court room ....

I think that pornography gives a false image of sex and the relations between men and woman. Also I remember what some serial killers like e.g. Ted Bundy said about how they were formed by porn. That makes me suspicious of pornography as such. We simply don't seem to have the knowledge that makes us know the limits of this special "dream world" ....
