Queen Victoria, 20 years old
She was not considered a beauty, but the idea of someone that young becoming the Queen of England, thus gaining a lot of power, even though she is a woman, did set "flies in the bonnet" of some of her male subjects. Some tried to shoot her for reasons best known to themselves, but which we may guess at. Others courted her in futile attempts to attract her attention for romance. In her teens she herself was infatuated by Lord Melbourne, who undeniably was a handsome man.
Lord Melbourne instructs the young Queen Victoria.
Victoria might adore the Lord, but I've never heard anything about him being in love with or just attracted to her. However, she didn't lack suitors as several men did have some kind of feelings for her, either of a non-romantic, mercenary art or something else: Sexual attraction. One of these "men" was a teenager who has gained everlasting fame by stalking her in a special and somewhat weird manner. The name of this teenager was Edward "Boy" Jones (1824– c. 1893 or 1896), and he didn't in the least belong to her social circles: He was a chimney sweep who several times broke into Buckingham Palace in order to steal her underwear, letters and whatever items he could get his hands on. That can't have been an easy exploit, as the palace of course was heavily guarded and she was protected in any way possible, so one wonders at his bravery in doing something like that to get what he wanted. By the way, it seems he stole her underwear and carried it out of the palace stuck into his trousers which I find both funny as well as kind of suggestive.
When he was caught - and that also happened several times - he received a sentence of hard labor for some months, but that didn't make him stop his habit of stalking the Queen so he was sent to Australia for 10 years. When he came back he just went on as a burglar for some time, before he decided to go back to Australia.
