I find these door mats very amuzing, but also quite reveiling. In my opinion it's rude to pay people a visit without an invitation. I myself would never just "come by", either on a whim or because I happened to be in the neighbourhood. Many of this kind of visitors feel differently about doing just that, and to me that proves that they don't consider the work day of people who need to plan their day because they work at home. If you - like me - work at home it's rather catastrophic to have your plans spoilt by people who "just came by".
